Wordstock: Portland’s (annual) Book Festival returns this Saturday (11/11/17) to the Portland Art Museum and the Park Blocks. There will be tons of writer talks (like Jeffrey Eugenides, Claire Messud, Tom Perrotta) as well as story readings for kids. The marquee event will be National Book Award winner Ta-Nehisi Coates (pictured) at the Arlene Schnitzer at noon. A must-see! And an added bonus is that your $15 (advance) ticket grants you admission to the Portland Art Museum (with the magnificent LAIKA exhibit currently on display). A perfect rainy weekend to celebrate art!
