Susie Knows Tapas

June 15th is World Tapas Day and there’s currently a Tapas Tour of PDX underfoot this week. While the delicious Ataula and Chesa have gained a large following, my favorite Portland tapas spot remains Toro Bravo. Here are the must-haves!:

  • Bread, butter and olive oil
  • Radicchio salad (topped with olive tapenade toasts and manchego!)
  • Salt cod fritters (I order salt cod fritters everywhere in town and these are the best.)
  • Chanterelles in Sherry Cream sauce (seasonal)
  • Paella
  • Bacon-wrapped dates
  • Panna Cotta for dessert
