Like the Kenton neighborhood to the north, Arbor Lodge is a neighborhood that still contains pockets of affordability in Portland. There are major bike arteries here, close-in MAX stops, and easy interstate access making Arbor Lodge very connected to larger Portland. There’s a lovely, sleepy feel to Arbor Lodge on a sunny day with its trees hanging over Rosa Parks Way and locals lounging outdoors at Grindhouse Coffee. There’s also a welcomed diversity in Arbor Lodge that you don’t get as much in closer-in PDX. It’s a good spot for those wanting to live in Portland without feeling like you’re living in a Portlandia sketch.
