Susie Knows Beaumont Village

We’ve been doing a lot of snacking and sipping along NE Fremont Street these past few months as Matt & Co have been readying a Mid-century Marvel for market (coming next week, teaser below!) Here are a few neighborhood highlights of the foodie & pedestrian-friendly Beaumont Village along NE 42nd to 47th Aves on Fremont.

McPeet’s Pub for grabbing a pint!
Grand Central Bakery for your weekly Como loaf or pastry pick-me-up.
A gimlet at Wonderly‘s happy hour with fried cheese curds! Then curry at Bang Bang.
Remember – It’s always Dame Time
And donut forget to get your birthday dozen from Pip’s Doughnuts & Chai!

Coming Soon: Mid-century Magic! Updated Ranch on Oversized Lot

Get ready to swoon! This lovely home has been cared for with so much TLC over the years and it simply radiates with mid-century charm alongside modern updates for easy living. The sprawling living/dining space has a wood-burning fireplace on a wood-paneled accent wall, bathed with light from the giant picture window that overlooks the dreamy, fenced yard. Updated kitchen & light fixtures. The living/dining room wood floors extend into the 2 light & bright bedrooms w/ ample closet space. 2 main level baths and garage.

But just wait til you go down the stairs to the lower level party pad! So spacious – it currently functions as a 2nd living space on one side with guest quarters on the other. A little elbow grease could turn this into a fully-functional apartment to accommodate visitors or generate rental income (there’s a separate entrance.)

But the living spaces don’t end there. When you need a little retreat to listen to your records or read among the trees, check out the swanky “She-Shed” in the backyard:

Added bonus? Alameda schools! Want to know more before it’s live? Ask Matt:
