Some big news to announce: There’s a new team in town! After years and years in Portland real estate, my nephew Matt and I have decided to team up. We are so excited about this new chapter … Meet Moran Homes!

8 years ago Matt swapped his commercial fishing license for a real estate license. Fast-forward to now: He’s helped over 100 families, both buyers and sellers, find their perfect fit. Matt is a U of Portland alumni and when he’s not cycling PDX, he splits his free time between the Oregon coast and Mt. Hood’s ski slopes with his little daredevil daughters and wife Anna.

Matt brings the highest level of service to all of his real estate endeavors. He specializes in preparing homes for Listing Day Wow Factor without the stress. And he’s also got a great eye for renovation and seeing a home’s potential for prospective buyers. We already shared an office and collaborated on countless projects, but now we’re officially returning to our family roots and working under the umbrella of Moran Homes. We can’t wait to be your go-to full-service real estate team!

Many of you already know Matt. But I’d also like to introduce you to our superstar third member: Jamie Van Hoorn.

Jamie joined us in 2019. She grew up in Sellwood and studied Journalism and Business Administration at the U of O before settling back in Rose City Park with her two tiny dogs. Jamie brings customer service expertise, millennial quickness and is shoring up the tech end of things to keep us on the cutting edge of real estate trends and the changing needs and habits of the modern home buyer and seller.

Moran Homes now has a combined 20 years of real estate experience and we look forward to continuing to work with Portlanders (and beyond!) to meet your real estate goals.
