The wait is over! Sunnyside now has its very own H-Mart. I checked out the Korean grocery store (where the old Zupan’s on Belmont used to be) and here are my findings:
Great produce section. Kale for $1.19. Affordable citrus for those last-minute cocktail garnishes.
Snacks galore.
Lobster, crab and fish OH MY! They even have whole squid in the freezer if you’ve got $125 to fork over.
Bulk rice.
Fermentation station!
And I can’t wait to go back and try a freshly made bibimbap. Great addition to SE PDX!
