Foster-Powell (FoPo) is a triangular neighborhood in Southeast Portland wedged in the space between Powell Blvd., Foster Road and 82nd Ave. It still has some of its grime from yesteryear which adds to its charm amid the rapid development that Portland is undergoing. The multistoried housing units are on their way, which, while altering the skyline, will ultimately help with the housing crisis. My favorite part about FoPo is the affordable, delicious food. Pho, bánh mìs, and Torta-Landia’s tortas (pictured) are all on FoPo’s doorstep.
