Lair Hill is a part of the South Portland neighborhood that lies just south of Downtown PDX. Its origins were in the 19th century where it was largely populated by Jewish and Italian immigrants. A few traces of Queen Anne architecture remain to this day and it’s a cozy spot to live since it’s small and walkable and in close proximity to downtown and the Ross Island Bridge (making the East side accessible.) And don’t miss out on the pork loin hash from the Lair Hill Bistro!
