(Note: We have a 2 Bed, 1 Bath top floor condo going LIVE in Goose Hollow very soon. More details below!)

Goose Hollow is the large swath of city blocks between Portland Downtown proper and the greenscapes of Arlington Heights/ Washington Park. And it’s the neighborhood where our beloved Timbers & Thorns play their home games at Providence Park. (There’s a Timbers game this Sunday at 2:30pm.) It’s a great spot to live for those who want to be near the energy of downtown Portland without living directly in it.

In fact, there couldn’t be a better centrally-located spot on the west side for one wanting to live the car-free dream. Goose Hollow residents can easily pop over to the shopping/dining hotbeds of the NW District and the Pearl, or go for a run into the trails of Washington Park (and smell the blooms in the International Rose Test Garden) or head east to the Portland Art Museum & PSU Farmer’s Market – all under a mile away!

While Goose Hollow is more residential than its adjacent districts, it has a few fun outings of its own (which can be swarmed on Game Day):
The Leaky Roof Gastropub offers a benedict brunch plus a great bar menu with fried brussel sprouts and smash burgers from 2-5pm and 8pm to Close.
Goose Hollow Inn – Founded by former PDX Mayor Bud Clark, this spot is known for its reubens (with a veggie option available) but don’t sleep on the dungeness crab seafood cocktail!
Coco Donuts Uptown – Portlanders love a pink box of donuts and what better fuel for screaming your head off at a Thorns game than a dozen sugar-laden lavender donuts and apple fritters AND house-roasted coffee for the whole family from this PDX gem?!
