This bubbly bunch of first graders play in the Wilshire Riverside Little League whose aim is to “offer baseball to NE Portland kids so they can have fun, develop as players and teammates, learn life lessons, and be part of an inclusive community.”

Home games are at the beautiful Field-of-Dreams-y Riverside Field which is next to the Riverside Golf & Country Club in NE PDX. In true t-ball fashion, they don’t keep score and everyone gets to bat with the option to receive a coach’s pitch or hit off the tee. Mini field, maximum fun!

America’s favorite pastime topped with the highest quality Snack Shack nacho cheese this side of the Rio Grande?! A fabulous way to spend a sunny Saturday. And their new coach is none other than our very own Josh!

It has been a hoot to cheer everyone on while munching on cheap hot dogs in a green space where no one is on a screen. So if you’re looking for a great way to support (or enroll your little one in) children’s athletics in our community, come on out to catch a game!
