We have a new listing on the way next week in Woodstock – a cozy SE Portland neighborhood just east of Eastmoreland & Reed College. Woodstock has a fabulous park (with space for dogs), its own library & farmer’s market and a fun little strip of restaurants and shops along Woodstock Blvd. Here are my current Top 3:

Cloud City Ice Cream is so, so good and while their most popular flavor is the Sea Salt Cookie Dough, my personal favorite is always going to be anything coffee-flavored: Kainos Coffee. Made with locally-roasted beans, I strongly encourage you to give this one a try especially when the Cookie Dough sells out! LOTS of Vegan options too.

Portland Fish Market brings the Oregon coast right to you with daily selections of clams, Netarts oysters, Chinook salmon, crab, you name it! Fresh, local and friendly – I love popping into the Portland Fish Market to stock up for a dinner party or holiday treats. And don’t forget their fish n chips window while you wait!

I have to whisper this next one because I don’t want tooooo many people to know … but one of the best SE PDX spots to watch sunset over the city happens to be on the rooftop of the Woodstock New Seasons! Grab your favorite deli meal or some fancy cheese and crackers and a bottle of wine and head upstairs. There’s covered space, tables galore and a firepit to keep you warm. And there’s a little bar right inside for an easy re-up for round 2.
