Live music is back in a big way this summer in PDX! The Waterfront Blues Festival is moving “Upriver” to the Lot at Zidell Yards – a fabulous newer outdoor venue at the South Waterfront that feels like the west side’s answer to the McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale.

The Lot features “a full stage, large format LED screen, a site-specific sound system and an on-site food and beverage program.” Concertgoers can book tickets in pods of 2, 4 or 6 and enjoy the social distance created by little picket fences, with each pod including a chair for each guest and a side table. Portable restrooms and sanitation stations abound.
Tickets for the 4th of July weekend Waterfront Blues Fest have been going fast but some are still available for the afternoon & evening concerts on the 5th. Beyond that, check out the upcoming shows here, with loads of fun on the horizon from the Portland Symphony, the Portland Cello Project, Y La Bamba and a host of offerings by the Portland Radio Project and films on the big screen by Hollywood Theatre.
Plus, the Lot is available for rent for a private event (fundraiser, auction, etc)
