I’ll soon be listing an absolute magazine-ready home in Laurelhurst close to one of Portland’s best restaurant hotbeds: 28th Avenue. Spanning nearly a half mile from NE Glisan to SE Stark, there is something here for everyone! Some of my favorites from north to south:
- Corn pizza at Dove Vivi
- Cubans at Pambiche
- Tortas at GÜERO
- Kombucha + a movie at Laurelhurst Theater
- Wings + Pad Kee Mao at Paadee
- Espresso-dusted soft serve from Cheese + Crack
- Grilled corn on the cob at The Goose
- Manchego + mushroom biscuit and coffee from Crema
- Falafel pita from Egyptian Brothers food cart (best bang for your buck in all of PDX!)
- Soppressata + Caesar salad from Ken’s Artisan Pizza
- Portland’s best Happy Hour at Bamboo Sushi (Get the Northwest Philly Roll!)
- And just to the east and west of 28th Ave. are 3 more gems: Everything at Tusk (Mediterranean), Kimchi sliders at Ate-Oh-Ate (pictured) and the fish-of-the-day at Laurelhurst Market!
