The Hollywood District is a centrally-located commercial-residential neighborhood in northeast Portland. It gets its name from the iconic Hollywood Theater which has been renovated with great care, has a fabulous 70mm projector, and makes for one of my favorite PDX outings. (Consider a membership!) Hollywood residents have their own library and perhaps the best access to groceries in all of Portland: The year-round Hollywood Farmer’s Market, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
