Susie & Team Know Storm Solutions (Portland, OR)

Fallen trees, frozen pipes, days without power … the recent ice storm wreaked havoc on the PNW and we hope this finds you safe, warm and getting back into the swing of things. We know that some of you have gone through an absolute nightmare in this wretched cold and so we wanted to offer some potential solutions to those in need:

Tools – If it’s a gadget you need in this pinch, we may have that too. We all have garages of dehumidifiers, ladders and shovels, etc, that we’ve accumulated over the decades in Real Estate. Our tool library is YOUR tool library!

Support Your Neighborhood Eateries – Our beloved foodie scene was hit hard by this multi-day closure. Some places lost a week of revenue with employees going a week without pay. The PDX restaurant scene is hurting and it’s a great time to order some takeout or warm up with a hot toddy at your neighborhood dive bar.

Shout out to:

  • Cameo Cafe East (recently featured in a PDX Eater article on Classic Portland restaurants) for staying open and feeding us on our first trip outta the house in a week!
  • T.C. O’Leary’s for keeping Matt & his beer buddies warm despite repeated fire hydrant malfunctions.
  • Lucky House for providing a hot meal to Jamie and Ryan on a snow walk.
  • Grand Central Bakery for staying open and continuing to put smiles on the kids’ faces with fresh croissants!

Keep Moving! – The repairs are daunting and this not-seeing-the-sun is adding to the Gloom Factor but don’t let that keep you down. It’s amazing what a little cardio endorphins can do from some light exercise and laughs with your buddies. And on that note, we will be hosting Pickleball with Moran Homes on Tuesday, January 30th from 7 to 9pm at The People’s Courts at 2700 NE 82nd Ave
Portland, OR 97220.

All are invited & ALL skill levels are welcome! But we only have 16 spots on this first outing so if you’d like to attend, text Susie at (503) 970-9866 to grab your spot & we hope to see you soon!
