Almost every lucky Portlander I know on the east side has a Thai food restaurant within walking distance. I have a ton. And this panang perk is never lost on me. One of my newer go-tos is Farmhouse Kitchen on SE Hawthorne. With its origins in San Francisco where it received love by the Michelin guide, it opened a cozy sister spot in PDX about 2 years ago.
